ULTLAB is the Research, Design and Innovation Hub (RDIH) of Ultimate and Eagle Outdoors Group Business. It’s where the rubber meets the road, and the road falls away to discover what adventures really want and their needs in a modern world of off-road and overland touring.
ULTLAB seeks to be the market leader in Over-land / Off-road Touring Engineering. To guide our mission, we follow a very simple customer centric mantra:
‘Being an adventurer, doesn’t mean sacrificing creature comforts.’
Through our design appointment process, customers get to collaborate with our engineering team.
We start by getting to know you and your Ultimate adventure requirements to create custom modifications to make those adventures unique and a reality.
We see this process of collaboration with our customer as ‘Open Sourced’ development for our wider Ultimate community.
We work with our Ultimate owner’s group – emerging and experienced, including those with crafts dating back to the original 1990’s prototype – helping them to modernise interiors and modern conveniences.
Most times, never needing to touch or update the original bones of the craft, except for the occasion pressure wash. Most customers are looking to simply update to the last modern conveniences or to update canvas and internal colour schemes.
Increasing creature comfort means, ultimately our customers get to experience much, much more of this harsh yet stunningly beautiful land

Ultimate Campers would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and the Aboriginal Elders of other communities who may be here today. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
