Ultimate Unveils a New Chapter at Rosehill 2012

The much anticipated latest model from Ultimate, the Nautilus, is set to reinforce the Moruya-based company’s standing as Australia’s No. 1 manufacturer of off-road camper trailers.

The Ultimate Nautilus sets a new standard in innovation, design, comfort, eco-friendliness and off-road performance.

The sleek lines and contemporary styling of the Nautilus are in keeping with the company’s signature look, a look inspired by the yacht-building heritage of the company owners, Michael and Wendy Hackett.  State-of-the-art design and manufacturing processes involving glass fabrics, structural cores and monocoque construction have enabled Ultimate to create a superior off-road camper trailer that weighs in at only 1300Kg.  The Nautilus’ light weight combined with its aerodynamic contours allows for a more fuel-efficient and environmentally-friendly adventure and let’s face it, adventure and exploration is what owning an Ultimate is all about!

Ultimate’s legendary off-road capability has not been sacrificed on the altar of luxury.  Despite the high-spec interior and benchmark levels of comfort in the Nautilus, the model is only restricted to where you want to go and what you want to experience by your 4WD’s capability.

According to Michael & Wendy Hackett, “We have been in business for 18 years and we continue to seek new ways of exciting our current and potential customers.  We believe that with the Nautilus we have found a product that will change the off-road camping experience forever.  We have a reputation for being innovative but we felt we needed to push ourselves even further.  We went back to our marine heritage and brought naval architects, composite engineers and boat builders in to help us bring the Nautilus to life. ”

The Ultimate Nautilus redefines 21stcentury camping.  Drawing inspiration from the company’s marine heritage, the moment you step into the Nautilus you know it’s something special; steps that would not be out of place in a private jet; a galley kitchen with top of the range appliances; a large lounge area with and an expandable queen-size bed pod.  Those who want even more will have to spend a bit of time selecting from the impressive list of optional extras and accessories.

“We are confident we have the ‘wow’ factor with the Nautilus.  On top of the great looks and specifications it also comes with our passion for delivering superior customer service before, during and after purchase.”, said Michael and Wendy.

The adventure has well and truly begun.
