We’re delighted to announce the launch of the Ultimate Off-Road Campers GT 360 at the 2019 National 4×4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo in Melbourne.
The new model derives its name from the standard inclusion of an all-new canvas that offers 360 degrees of coverage. The canvas also allows 360-degree views of the landscape with larger windows all around, and with window clears included as standard. Internally, the tent is 10cm taller.
One of the great bug bears of the loyal Ultimate Off-Road Campers family has been “the bed”. Making it up and pulling it down becomes easy and quick but a chore nonetheless. Fresh thinking was needed and Eagle Outdoors Group Managing Director and owner of Ultimate Off-Road Campers, David Rodgers, set his mind to the task. And hey presto, the Ezi-Fold Bed was born! Thanks to David’s heritage in the rag trade, this solution and the new canvas were top of his list of things to sort out within his first year and he gets a gold star for that!
Not content with that, David set about designing an ensuite that attaches to the main canvas. We said, “You’ll never do that!”, he said, “Watch me”. And hey presto, he did it!
In all there are more than 40 tweaks and improvements in the camper. Some are standard and some will be optional extras.
