A vehicle can be below its advertised towing capacity and still exceed GVM, GCM, tow-ball or rear-axle limits. Suitability must be checked with the camper and vehicle loaded as they will actually travel.

Work from real load, not brochure tare
Bullbars, canopies, drawers, spare wheels, people and luggage all consume vehicle payload. Camper options, batteries, water, gas, food and recovery gear consume trailer payload. Use a weighbridge once the combination represents normal travel.
