Learn the approved model-specific process at handover, then practise it in daylight until both setup and pack-down are calm and repeatable.
Setup sequence
- Select safe, firm and appropriately level ground
- Position, brake and chock the camper
- Disconnect only as instructed
- Open and stabilise in the prescribed order
- Deploy canvas and weather protection without forcing components
- Connect water, gas and power only after visual checks
Pack-down sequence
- Turn off and secure appliances and services
- Remove moisture, grit and loose items
- Fold canvas into its intended zones
- Stow poles, cushions and equipment in their assigned positions
- Close without using excessive force
- Complete coupling, brake, light and walk-around checks
Practise difficult conditions safely
Once familiar, discuss wet-weather and windy-condition procedures with Ultimate. Do not use strong wind as a training exercise; the priority is preventing injury or product damage.
