Canvas lasts best when it is kept clean, allowed to dry completely and never stored with moisture trapped in folds or against bedding.
Routine care
- Let loose dirt dry before brushing gently
- Use only products and methods approved for the fabric
- Avoid pressure washers, harsh detergents and household mould chemicals
- Check seams, windows, zips and high-contact folds
- Keep canvas clear of sharp or greasy equipment
If you must pack wet
Treat a wet pack-down as temporary. Reopen the camper as soon as practical, extend all affected panels and allow them to dry completely in moving air. Dry bedding, cushions and storage areas separately.
Before long-term storage
- Canvas completely dry
- Fridge empty, clean and ventilated
- Gas isolated
- Interior clean and pest-free
- Camper protected but ventilated as recommended
